The 240sx is actually going to be track car.The suspension was not here yet so we took it out for a spin and that was the result,freaking car rolls like a boat.....but the feel was not that bad,good handling car for what it is.The KA is getting swaped to SR20 Turbo.Had fun but got to give my knees a rest to we head out to the new track in the next week.See ya there.

we blew the engine this weekend trying to push more power...the engine was already tired so we just turned the boost up and that was the end of it....the last pull was 295 RWHP @20 psi and 280 ft on pump 91 gas....Oh well we it was just a test dummie engine but the result was good.

 

Depends on the turbo and how aggressive the tune is.

On a stock ka, i'd tune on the rich side and retard the **** out of the timing to get more than 1 run out of the motor. Sure, you could run stoich and back the timing off juuuuuuuuuust enough so it doesn't ping but the room for error is nil.....like a turbo rotary. Lol.

They're both good engines but the KA is amazing.

Truck motor, yes but trucks make torque! 10psi and some tuning delivers more than the sr out of the box for less money and less headache.

 

its easier in the states.

but no japan guys do KA swaps,there is a reason, if youve got a few Gs a built SR is loads better than a KA.

Truth on 1 and 3. Not so much on 2. There are some guys in japan that prefer the ka over sr. I wish i could remember where i saw that this guy had imported a 240sx to japan. I loled. It was pink. Why not? They import 64 impalas, slap daytons on them and drag the bumper all the way down the street, hats cocked blasting ganster rap.
