Manual rack for FD

I need manual power steering for my car, what options are available and what are the systems like for street use.

Any links or advice would be helpful

There is a "loop" method of just using a hose on the existing rack. (???)

Mavel does a conversion of the PS rack. (~$300 ??)

And AtomicRex recently started producing manual racks with a different steering ratio. (~$1000+)

do a search on depowering the steering rack. there are a couple writeups for 2nd gen and Miata but the racks are near identical.

I did it to mine and its not bad at all, but Power steering is better.

loop line is not going to feel near as good as something like the maval conversion, and apparently, those with experience say that the atomic rex rack is far superior to even the maval conversion.
