You can't make a video like that with a RWD car, the AWD and all the smoke and sound is really what makes it intense IMO, that and all the visual effects/eye candy/random **** they do in gymkhana videos.Although some of the angles/shots are pretty sweet in gymkhana.

what makes the video bad is taht the driver is afraid to push the car like ken can.
and teh dumb *** acting...

but the driver has talent cause if you look there arent nearly as many tire marks as in kens videos. granted the driver was ***** footing the car but he didnt crash once.. and in kenblock videos the dude always hits something...

with that said the video woulda been EVEN better if the driver has some sort of sponorshit where he wouldnt give a **** to push his car.
and atleast it wasnt a honda civic...

your joking right? that dude has hardly any talent at all. he's pulling off power slides and donuts, not drifting. i think you better waste another 6 minutes of your life and watch it again. the guy understeers like a mad man and even loses "drift" four or five times on basic *** donuts. how is that talented? he only linked one "drift" and all he really did was a baby manji by the water. he sucked so bad he couldn't even start his power slide until after the edge of the buildings he was trying to "drift" around. even the best camera angles in the world can't hide that sort of lack of talent.

if he were a noob to drifting i totally wouldn't flame him. i'd just chalk it up to being crappy at drifting like we all were when we started. but he's in a full race suit, sponsored by VGT or something and he's driving a "450whp" FD. please, gay is the only word worthy of this video's definition.

hmm im not going to lie i honestly dont really kno the difference between a power slide and a drift and so on... i didnt really have my 7 long enough to get into drifting befor i started a build. so i guess he isnt a talented driver to some one who knows what there looking at. thanks for showing me how little i knew about the sport really **** i thought drifting was basicaly getting the car to slide smh.

 

Just go to more events and get into the scene watch vids and what not, I won't knock on somebody that wants to learn.

It was pretty terrible for a pro. I can do all of that and better with my crappy fc. **** most of what he did i can recreate on a night of playing on the street. I i had a place like that to play I would be really good by now.

I know lots of guys that could make a better video than that from the filming perspective to the drifting perspective. Whoeevr was talking about the cinematography on blocks video is right on. If the camera crew wasnt so talented it wouldnt look as great.

I dont understand the point of donuts in any video. unless your circling something at least. I've seen guys drift open diff cars better than that FD. Like open diff 5m powered shitbox cressidas. Not hating on cressidas just pointing out that one was shitty.

Ken block is good but he's not as good as real rally drivers like Colin McRae, Carlos Sainz, and a shitload of others. those guys are legendary and for good reason. they are some of the best drivers in the world in any motorsport period. Why do you think the rally guys that defect to F1 racing do so well? Cause they are badass drivers period.

If you can drive a car sideways through the air in the woods at over 120mph and not die or crash your a badass!!!!!!!!!!!
