FC- Electric cutoff key wiring... URGENT

ok.. I thought I had this covered but i'm in a hefty state of panic now..

I have one day left to get the FC to the spec of the drifting championship series 'BDC'.. the LAST thing on my long *** list for the car (of which I have build with help in just over 5 weeks!) is the stupid Electrical cuttoff switch!

Right. All pull cables are in and ready, a key bracket/mount is being done its the specific wiring I need sorted.. and fast!

I'm a retard when it comes to electric so no responses like:

"its easy feed one side to the positronic data hyperfluxor to the alternator then back to the key via the somoflex capacitor.. obviously"

were talking IDIOTS GUIDE!!
this wire goes to here (pic) then get a wire to go from this side of key here (pic) to this (pic). Finally cut into your ignition here (pic)...

get what I mean??

I have to attack this tonight/at the track on friday night, so any help is great. cheers

I'd post in the technical section for a faster response. I've done it before, but it was in an FB.

OK, first I'm not so sure that's a good place, you'll have to look at your rules, but the switch needs to be someplace you, or a corner worker can get to if you have an accident. So putting the switch under the hood it usually a bad idea.

What I did was this - 4 pole switch

Battery---(pole1)----------- switch --(pole2)-------------Starter, Alternator, and Main power
Ignition wire ----(pole3)-- switch -(pole4)-------------- ignition wire

So basically the switch kills battery power to everything, and the switch will interrupt the ignition switch. Without the ignition switch in the loop, the way I have it, the engine would still probably continue to run if I turned the switch, but because I interrupt the ignition circuit, the motor will die and then it's fine.

thanks for the wiring info dude.

The key under hood is OK as I have two external pull cables on the dash (one for key, for for fire) and then the same inside the cabin for me. This is easier due my battery not being relocated.

cheers guys,
