Backup Streetcar build. Buckey's '87 TurboII RX7

Got it blown. I sold my entire ecu, injector, turbo setup from my black FC 2 weeks after FD Irwindale to the owner of this car. Pretty ironic how things work out. I always kicked myself in the *** for letting that setup go. Had no idea it was the same car until yesterday when i put this guy in it

Just going to do mild build streetcar, cage it as a backup car and get it to meet tech requirements. Hoping to have it on coils, painted, do spindles, clutch, and get more wheels by FD Vegas.

I was going to use GP front, GP sides, a s5 rear/diffuser but i noticed lex has the same setup now almost.
Im going to just do BN and modify it a little. i might try the front without the cutouts, but idk... I like the cutouts too - but i also like having lights up on the streetcar... Haha idk. I want to get/make a rear diffuser for the BN and cut out the center between the exhaust holes. Just try some different stuff an see what happens

Ended up deciding to use the stock for now so i can veat on it until i get the RE. The 45r is going on red car and the 35r is going on this - unless i could sell it. Pretty much whatever sells first is what route in going as i still have the red fc to kill my leftover funds...

Ok cool....yeah the GP sport kit is a little played out. Don't get me wrong i love the look of it but i feel its the go to body kit. Have you ever thought about the Sexy Style body kit?

or what about the M sport kit?(this is just the front bumper not the whole kit)

+1, but only if the car will be low. Like mad low. Custom headlight cutouts in true "Buckey" fashion would be pretty dope too.

I cant seem to get away from the cutouts! Lol theyre just so damn good! I want this thing to be everything the race car cant be. Subs, low as it will go. Crazy front camber, canards. Lol just need to keep working and get $$$ together and hopefully it will come together.

race car motor found its home after a little mishap and 2 builds later. Needless to say its running, ported larger than before (in red car) and has a fresh RWS Super Seal kit. This was the motor that survived 24psi untuned on pump gas for over 30pulls, and all of the RA internals were solid. Replaced the cracked iron, and 2 side seals, and threw in fresh race springs/apex seals, and its golden again. Drove it home tonight.

Now the fun part goes down. Engine bay paint, chassis paint, aero, wheels, coils, spindles, and power steering.

@kinch its coming! I have them all just been excited to drive so ive been putting it off lol. Im thinking of painting it this month. Probably do it all at once.

@comic artist i knoww! Lol its killing me too. I have brand new tires on the rear.. Trying not to kill the sidewalls until my friend hits me up with his feder roller. Trying not to get dents in the quarters, or pull them with a jack handle and dent the body lines when the metal pulls. Not trying to ***** this one out and have to get overs immediately

Nothing yet, aside from reduced pricing in exchange for stickers with a few companies. I havent been driving so i havent pursued anything. Pretty much the same deal for all the Privateer FD Guys.

@will, no. Although i do like it, but its just not for me. I've had 3 seperate cars try to drive into it today... Im thinking last years red, s5 jdm gunmetal silver/blue, or bmw m3 staughlgrey metallic.. To be honest though the white paint is mint. I might leave it for a while and see what happens.

I gotcha. I think gunmetal would be sweet, but you can't have two red cars :P

Thanks! I agree. I miss those things too now. For some reason that color combo just worked.

The rpfs i had just popped back up on the local forum but for like $1300... Im Really wanting to do those, but i think bronze 17/18 TEs, or AME Shallen CXs are goin on it later this year.
