ya same here i would appreciate that...as far as the the track events at VIR and SP..YOU are WRONG about it being ok to drift there. Yes the skidpad is open and I do seem some people attempting but there is usually a long line and people get pissed off when someone goes out there to just try and drift and keep spinning out. Sorry buddy stay in texas and stop trying to pretend your out there all the time

I was trying to give him ways to practice. Starting off with controlled donuts and such. But if you do get a big enough parking lot then yes you will have enough room to actually drift. You just need to set up some cones in a challenging pattern.

Meh, it happens. and its fixable.
Sorta like the first time I took my brand new WRX (in 2002) to a rally-cross. I got there and upon inspecting my car I noticed a door ding and whined to my friend. But, by the end of the day I was whining that I couldn't get more air off one of the jumps on the course. Driving your car hard makes you care less about aesthetic perfection.

So, you want a school. goto this website www.hyperfest.com Next Sat, they have a classroom/seat time school going on. You asked, you received. 150 bucks. Taught by pros, on the SHENANDOAH circuit and for beginners and experienced alike.
There you have it. If you dont want to go, by your posts you added about Summit Point and blah blah blah, get google earth and look for parking lots away from residential areas.
