I dont know if this is a good place to put this but imma axe anyway.

Has anyone ever considered cutting the rear bn sports bumper up, taking off the "bodykit" section and installing it lower on a stock bumper with a more flat bottom? Or just extending it out?
Am I the only person that the height of the rear bumper drives crazy? nothing is cooler than a rear bumper sitting on the ground. Maybe I will try and do it to mine. and probably ruin it.

Ms paint example.

{LOOK AT THE REAR BUMPERS}
I guess this is just extended. not dropped lower.

Its not flat in the picture but you kinda get the idea.

Those are Hot Line 50mm rears

They're actually not bowed out in this configuration.

rear wheels were 20x10-19 in this pic.

here's a pic of the fenders "bowed" to be about 60-70mm wide..

knockoff junk is the same as real junk. except cheaper and crappier made. same shape and all.. or close enough. Usually after about 300 copies the mold has shrunk a but. which causes the kit to not quite fit right. you get what you pay for. also buy the knockoff kit and add 5 layers of mat glass on the back. yes it will be heavier. but it wont blow up half as easy.

the way they make the mold for the knockoff is by taking the real kit and laying up over it.. or by now im sure every kit you find has been a copy of a copy. so the kit "should" be as low as the original authentic kit. if they are not as low then its purely because the mold has shrunk. which means it could bethe same to 1.5" shorter. Why does it matter. if youre asking questions like this you obviously arent going to buy an authentic kit. buy a shitty knockoff then break it a bunch and buy a replacement. repeat and be glad you didnt save and buy a real kit.

also there are a few companies that sell the bn style kit but then you recieve the bn front bumper and gp sports skirts or rear bumper. I dont know what company sells them or whatever. but know a few people that have received it that way.

Had to run huge tires in the back, running an M-Sport front bumper with BN sides and rear, so I'm going to go to either M-Sport sides/rear or GP whenever I blow these up, run smaller tires, and lower it back down some. You can pull off 17's with BN, but a 18/17 stagger looks better.

Has anyone ever attempted to make their own mold and make their own fiberglass parts?

It looks really easy. Im going to make a 1 piece rear end for my FC cause its going to be all tube.
