I like it. Once the MAF goes on it will clear up his idle and the "miss" probably.

^^^^^ what he said.

If your going to build a car for drifting then why not use something that is cheaper on $$$ for the hp gained?

And obviously there's the abundance of torque produced by a v8 making it easier/ better at producing clouds of smoke.

Painless has a $100 rebate on harnesses over thr summer. But yea that's ******* cool if thats a door solenoid button

V8's are cool. I have a '93 gt 302 and an ls1 here at my house, just waiting to go in some of our fc's. We have 5 between me and my bro

thankss for the support guys.. i finally got it drivable.. but only for short periods of time.. i still dont have a charging system(waiting for part) or a cooling system.. i also still dont have an exhaust.. but i did drive it from my moms house to my place.. on open headers and it seems like itll be a lot of fun when it all done.. i didnt get video because i was more concerned with not overheating or battery dying while at the same time dodging the cops because we live in a VERY quiet neighborhood.. but i made it and will hopefully have it all done by the end of the week. thats when ill get some video.. and for those of you that live in norcal... itll be at infineon in the next few weeks and socal folks ill probably be down at adams motorsports parkin riverside along with my SA maybe next month

Finally got it out to the track.. first time sliding in over a year and a half... that tied with having some issues with keeping the car cool in 95+ degree weather and fuel cut issues mid drift made for some not so good runs but heres the video...

You need some much wider rear tires. Trust me.

Wider/bigger rims is def on the top of my to do list but for now im focusing on my cooling and fuel issues. I have stickier tires I'm going to try in a few weeks that also have shorter sidewalls.

And the car will spin any gear I tell it to. Lol. I did the whole course in third gear with no issues. Most spinout were due to me trying to go faster or get more angle than the cars grip/setup would allow.
