Clear bra... How long after new paint? How much material for FD?

My car is getting out of the bodyshop tomorrow, had some small dings removed, new shine auto specb front bumper, and a full re-spray of factory paint.

I seem to have horrible luck with rocks being kicked up on the highway (one broke my windshield last year!),
so I'd like to have my front bumper, hood, and front fenders all protected with clear bra.

It was recommended to wait 30 days after new paint before detailing... So obviously that means waiting for the clear bra as well right?

What is the recommended detailing prep before installing the clear bra?
Do I need to wait longer than the 30 days before having it installed?
How much material is typically needed? If i cant find a good local installer i might have my detailer attempt it.
Any other tips or things I should know?

Thanks!

Here is the car (before the new paint/bumper)

the material is a bit expensive to be experimenting with. I always thought it would be like working with a large decal but its heavier- which is fine for easy flat areas, but compound areas like the bumper and fenders is tougher then you think.
you will not want to drive the car while waiting for the paint to cure up because if you get a chip or two it will show up bad under the clear bra as a air pocket and on that black will be terrible.
there is not much prep except perhaps you will want the body shop or your detailer to give the car a fresh polish, just skip the wax.

The FD is my daily driver, so unfortunately it will be driven during the curing process.

Thanks for the tips!

If you get a chip try dabbing it with black and lightly sanding it to try to fill it in. Have the body shop do this. It shows up worse then you think and once it's on your stuck with it.

I'm also considering doing this, as my bumper gets WAY too many chips...

Is there a needed time delay, or can it be done right after the painting?

(I live almost 200 miles from my paint/body shop.. so the likelihood of getting something kicked up on the way home is almost assured...)

i install the stuff for a living. with a new paint job depending on paint brand and cure times its hard to say. What happens is new paint job are still very stick and tacky when it comes to adhesives. If its not cured long enough it will only allow you ONE TIME TO GET IT RIGHT. If the paint is still soft it will adhere to the paint protection material and wont come off without causing damage. Word from the wise take it to the pros.

Other wise if you need the best my work carry's venture shield and 3m. We distribute it in any length and size but the stuff is not cheap
