noobie question about my gsl

ok so i get out of my car lock the door close it then i noticed the damn door unlocks every time i shut it... any advice on what causes this?? and what do i have to do to fix it ?

First post, and in this section, welcome to Rx7club! Your issue is not a problem at all, in fact it is what mazda had designed into all the Rx-7's. When you lock the door, and before you shut it, lift up on the outside handle and shut the door at the same time. This will keep the lock, well, locked. Hope that helps!

It's so you don't lock the keys in the car. Holding the handle is merely a "trick" to lock it without using the keys.

EDIT: EricRyan is right, this should be in a generation specific forum. But you asked the right guy, nonetheless.
