well over the past week the odds have been stacking against me going to the gap this year and today was the final straw.
last wed. i lost my job but i still had enough money to make the trip. saturday my g/f's litlle sister had a horrible wreck. she had to spend the night in the hospital,her best friend is still in S.T.I.C.U (and will be for another week atleast)and the other kid with them died on the scene. we all were a little shaken but i still planned on making the trip. monday a guy ran a redlight and t-boned my g/f totalling her car. she had to spend a couple of hours in E.R. . today i found out that my g/f's accident was ruled "no fault" . she doesnt have full coverage so shes basically just lost her car and her insurance is only going to cover $2000 of her medical bills.
so i have to help her get another car now and shes afraid something might happen to me on this trip so im just going to sit this one out.

marsha is ok she just had a baseball size lump on her head.
her sister sommer is a little wosre. she ended up with a bruised lung,a cut on top of her head that had to be stapled,a cut on her arm,and she cracked the bone that connects her head to her spine(forgot the name of it).she'll be just fine and it doesnt look like she will have any permanant damage from it.

im sure things will work out,it could have been ALOT worse. marsha just barely saw the guy before she was hit and slammed on the brakes, im sure if she hadnt he would have hit the drivers door(and i dont even want to think about the outcome of that one).

 

was that today? everything has been a blur these past few days.
oh i was going to see if i could bring those parts to you at the gap. but since im not going and i havent even had a chance to take them off i can just bring them to your house(or we can meet somewhere)next week.

Man I'm sorry to hear about the black cloud following you around. I hope Marsha and the little sis get better.

It's nice to know someone else is having bad luck lately too. It seems like everything has gone wrong for me this week too. My wife woke me up yesterday crying because she backed into the garage door. Not only did she ruin the door but she put a pretty good dent in her car to boot. That coupled with my CRX crapping out on me and issues with Lowe's has stressed me out big time. Luckily no accidents involving the ER yet. Hopefully our luck will change! I'm going to have to sit the gap out myself. My buddy that was going to work for me had to cancel. His wife got a boob job and is too sore. I can't be too upset... That's just cool!
