I would like to thank the following people....
I would like to thank the following people for making this year's DGRR a success!
First, all the sponsors..
RX7store.net - Jason B.
Rotary Resurrection - Kevin L. (thanks for coming out!)
Speed for Sale.com - David and Cory (thanks for coming out!)
BNR Supercars - Brian N.
Performance Concepts - Reese (Thanks for coming out!)
RX7club/RX8club/RXtuner owner - Ryan S.
Members of RRDI (Raleigh Rotary Drive In), especially Greg, Bert, and Johnny... Thank you so much for your help and support!!
David (jdtanksley) for helping me send out emails to potential sponsors and also leading us TN/Alabamians to US129. Without him, we would of been completely lost!
Holly (ROTORX7Holly) and her daughter for printing out all the name tags and getting signed poster from Jim Downing. Thank you!
All the Group leaders, who woke up early to check out the "Dragon" and moving fallen trees so that we could drive to the "Dragon" on saturday.
Thanks for fellow Bham Rotary owners who helped me pass out tshirts, cleaning up the picnic area, getting ice for the drinks, etc.. Without you guys (Leo, Chris, Stephen, and "BIG" John) this could of never happened..
Also, TN rotary owners, especially Chad, who helped out with the T-shirts. I greatly appreciate your help!
And finally.. All the attendees of DGRR2006!! I was surprised to see so many rotary owners to show, dispite the crazy weather. I will try my best to organise this event again.... Thanks!

I want to once again thank Debra Rutherford from the TVA and the local TVA people for letting us have permission to use the lower area and letting us have it up top instead. I also want to thank the guys who helped me with the tent and signs, that was really great of you guys to do that. Thanks to Phil and all his crew, the sponsors, volunteers, and everyone else. Thanks to the state/local law enforcement, once again they were nice enought to "leave" us alone. I talked with the Sherriff for a while who came out last year on Friday, and the guy from the Highway Patrol is really a great guy. Thanks again to all the Rotorheads who came out! You guys are the best!

Big thanks to Phil and everyone else who made this happen again. Many parts of the event were improved over last year (the name tags was a great idea) and it will only get better as the years go on. I am kinda spoiled with having this road in my backyard, but it is always better with the mountain filled with the sounds of redlined rotaries!

For the record, it was pouring down rain when I noticed the parking lights were on, and I was waiting for the rain to pass.
It was nice to be formally introduced to the ENTIRE forum when someone else finally did notice they were on. I think everyone knows my name now.

I can't wait til next year so David (my bf) can join in on the Rotary (and crazy people) fun!
Reese, Hopefully he will be able to keep up with yours and my energy.
I'm excited about you meeting the guy who was able to catch me... and I'm excited about him meeting the guy who has as much spaztic-ness as I do. I could swear you're my twin from another life. LOL
