Throughout this week, I will post more information registration for DGRR 2008.
But for now, this is what I posted on www.DealsGapRotaryRally.com
So, you need to sign up early to save BIG!!! By signing up early, you are helping me b/c....
1. I know approximately how many and who's coming to prepare and set up for the event
2. Help Nantahala Village by them know how to prepare and makes me look GOOD
3. Help others know who's coming and get them to sign up!... which helps me..
4. Help me get vendors as they know who's coming and how many

Once all the rooms are booked, you would have to find your own lodging.. I'll be hones with you, This is an AWESOME price!!
Some of you might want extra shirts..
Extra shirt will be flat $15 for Short Sleeve and $20 for long sleeve.
With Registration, its ONLY short... There will be NO SUBSTITUTION for LONG! You would have to purchase it seperately.... SORRY!!

Pricing.. Well, Since next year will be a different from last few events... I'm going to give a shot with a tier pricing.
From Now til End of Dec 2007 - Registration will be OVER!!.
Nantahala Village will give 25% off of their Rate!!
((You might think this is HIGH but remember that this includes 3 MEALS and a Shirt! At this price, I'm NOT making a dime!!))
From Jan 1st to Feb 15th, 2008 - Registration will be $70 per person and Nantahala will give 15% Off
From Feb 16th to March 31st - Registration will be $80 per person and Nantahala will give 10% off...
From April 1st to the day of the event.. Registration will be $90 per person and NO discount on lodging.
I would say don't wait til the end (so I could make money..) But lodge might be limited...
ONLY those who register will get the Lodge discount code. Lodge discount code is specific to the individual registered rotorhead and I will periodically check with Nantahala to verify. If you didn't register and go the discount, you will AUTOMATICALLY get charged at FULL price!!

Quick FYIs...
I been running around all day trying to take care of some bank stuff.. I had to close 3 accounts.. Anyhow, because of that, I didn't really get to finalize the registration process..
I'll try to do that tonight..
ONE thing is that this year, I can only accept Paypal!! No MO, Checks, etc..
Also this means, you have to cover the paypal Fee.. So the total will be $62.50 instead of $60. Hope no one has problem with this?? I might be able to accept limited number of payment thru my other paypal account if its bank transfer at no fee.. But I can only accept 5-8 payments a month.

Also, Nantahala agree to shuttle some people up and down the hill if needed.. But I would like to use them as little as possible.. So, if any of you would like to volunteer just in case some of you can not make it up the hill... let me know.. I'll try to compensate you for some gas (pending sponsors).

I want to go up there with my gf ... but wouldnt mind splitting the cost of a 2 , 3, or 4 bedroom ... if we can get the cost down to around 30/night/person (definately possible with the beds and stuff they supply).

1. Login to your PAYPAL account
2. Click SEND MONEY
3. Put in my paypal account "philipsohn2004@yahoo.com"
4. Amount of $73.25
5. Clink CONTINUE
6. Under MESSAGE TO RECIPIENT, put following info:
a. YOUR SN
b. REAL NAME
c. SHIRT SIZE

e. Email address
f. WHAT CAR you'll be BRINGING.

Noxlupus (Gianny) tried to make the reservation and the group sale lady isn't in today.. So, please hold your reservation call until tomorrow.
By the way, as I stated before, there are limited number of lodge available at Nantahala Village... If we have the same amounts of people as last year, the place will be BOOKED Solid!!! But I'm expecting more people this year than last as I've recieved TON of emails and PM about this event since this past event!!
So, register early to SAVE money and to have a place to stay!!
I'm going to post available room/lodges/houses and the pricing.. Just in case those of you who didn't see it early on the thread..

I received couple emails and PMs about registrations and questions about the event..
I'll answer couple of them here..
1. Can I buy extra T-shirts later? - Answer is YES! You could buy them later but there will be a much earlier deadline. I'll also print few extra but after the deadline, cost will be higher...
2. Does registration include a guest? - Answer is NO!! Because this years registration includes 3 meals, if you are bringing a guest, you would also need to pay for their registration. Trust me, This will be cheaper than if you drove somewhere for a meal...
3. If registration fee refundable?? - Answer is NO!! Only exception will be if Nantahala Burns down to the ground or place is iced up and for the safety of everyone we had to cancel the event.. Then, I will refund (minus the paypal fee).
4. What if I can only make it to one meal?? - Answer is, "I'm sorry but I can not pro-rate the meals... If you miss one, you miss one..". I got a package deal so that we could all save and I can not do individually.
5. What happens if Nantahala Village is totally BOOKED? - Answer is, YOU will have to find your own lodging somewhere else... or try to stay with someone with large cabin/house. Most cabins hold 6+ people with separate bedrooms. I highly recommend registering early to get the deeper discount! This way you could maximize the saving!!
6. How far is the drive to the Dragon? - Answer is, 30-60mins away. Pending traffic and speed of travel.
7. What if I have to cancel at the last moment? - Answer is, If you sign up early, I'm sure someone will buy your spot at the discounted rate. There will always be someone who wants to attend at the last moment.. But as stated before, its non refundable. I will help as much as I can to help you.. but once the payment is made, its final!!
8. What if I want to stay at Nantahala longer or come in earlier? - Answer, I will ask them if they will extend the discounts to +/- 2 days. I'll get back to ya.
9. What if I just want to come check out the event? - Answer is, you are welcome to come and take a look at cars and such.. If you want to eat with the group, I will have to charge you $20-25 for either Lunch or Dinner ( 3 meals will be - $60-70). If you want a shirt, it will be $20-30 for a shirt. And if you want to stay at Nantahala, I'm sorry.. ONLY registered member could book the ROOM!!

Even if you book it without the discount and somehow the receptionist book you, I will check their list with my list and your name does not show, we will contact you and apologize for the mistake and take you off the list!! But at this point, I'm expecting that all the cabins and rooms will be fulfilled for the event!

I booked one of the fireplace suites yesterday. Natahala seems so far to be much easier to deal with and more organized. I talked with Maggie and she handled everything super quick and was very helpful.
