Caravan From Atlanta to Deals Gap Info.
I was hopeing to get a pretty good group of folks together agian like last time to caravan from the atlanta area to the Gap. Anybody going that is interested post up and let us know you are going. Hope this outing is as fun as the last one was.

im definately down for this as well. but maybe not meeting in atl. that would require my group and i to drive a lot of extra miles. what time of the day would you plan to leave? these are the cars coming with me most likely my 1st gen, evo8, MS protege, n/a protege, and SS camero.

Doesnt look like too many are going from our area if you go by this thread. But as it usually goes there are always last minute people and people who dont frequent the forum. Im still planning on making it, but it depends on my car being done by then.

Hey Ian, it is good to hear from you. I hope things are going well for you. We miss you in the ATL, but I guess it is better that you don't have to be away from home now.
If we take the same route as last year, we will be traveling up I-985 and up through Helen, GA. Sorry I don't remember the routes, I would have to look at a map. Hopefully we can meet up with you guys. It will be good to see you again.

Yeah I was thinkin of workin a half day friday but not taking the whole day off. The florida guys should be comeing through atlanta around noon to 1.

Oops - I just looked at the map.
It's I75 North out of Atlanta, then to I575.
Anyway, I'll be on CB channel 19, and FRS channel 6.

2.5 miles North of 285 on I75 - exit 111 (on the way to Dave & Busters)
There is a KFC on the corner one block West of 75 on Delk Rd.
Friday between 1 & 2PM.
Google earth is cool, but I need someone to confirm it's actually there.

You guys are going up the eastern route on 85 to 985 to Gainesville, then 129 to Robinsville.
Ok - so pick a meeting/lunch spot on 85..
Maybe about 5 miles from 285 - Indian Trail Rd.
Blimpie, Shoney's, Krystal, McD's, Fazoli's ?
If we leave there by 2, will that get us to Robinsville by 7 or 8?

We usually meet up in suwannee, as to not have to drive south then back north. I just realized today that I have friday off so im good to meet anytime. So 1pm is ok for me for sure.
