Hello, I'm a local. Last DGRR I attended I could show up without registering (It's been awhile, I left the community). Is that still that case? Also, do I need to register my girlfriend too or can she just tag along? I plan on only attending on Saturday. If that helps any. Thank you!

We request that everyone who's going to participate registers. Part of it is a liability waver etc.

Just a reminder to everyone... The price will go up next Friday (3/15) to $40/person, and we will no longer guarantee T-Shirt sizes. We will need to place the order for shirts soon.

I'm going to make it up on Wednesday this year. I started a separate thread for the Atlanta Caravan.

I just signed up! My first time going as I just got my FD last year. Build thread here: https://www.rx7club.com/build-thread...hread-1127397/

hope the weather is good. If it's raining, I may need to drive my daily (Alfa Romeo Giulia) since all the seals around my windows are deteriorated. Really want to bring the FD so I can get some guidance from the brain trust.

Anyone have a spare bed/room where they are staying? Looks like I'll be driving down solo. I'm a no drama kind of guy, just looking to get the best DGRR experience on my first visit.

Is theft ever a concern at the Rally? I'm staying at one of the suggested hotels and I'm paranoid that my car will disappear in the middle of the night...even in its fugly state...

This marks my 13th year and I cannot recall 1 thing EVER getting stolen OR vandalized. This is a well structured event, not your average kid meet. But sadly anything is possible, especially if you are not on site but we have had a great track record so far.

Agreed.... I don't think I've ever heard of anything happening to a vehicle at the event... besides motors blowing, or accidents hahaha

Looks like I missed online registration. I’ve never been and not sure how this works. My wife are planning to stay near the biltmore around this same time, so we’d just drive over for an evening. What all should I know ? Thanks!

Looks like you'll get your wish. Friday is looking to be the best chance of afternoon pop up thunderstorms, otherwise sunny. Saturday/Sunday looks clear.
I'll just cover mine if it storms

http://www.dealsgaprotaryrally.com/itinerary.php

This should answer that question. There is also a hub link for local eateries and places to stay.

First time attendee here. Question: are people usually open to helping troubleshoot minor issues? I got my A/C working so I could make this trip comfortable. However, when the A/C is on, my idle bounces all over the place and when I come to a stop/in neutral my car sometimes stalls. I have a PFC and the IDLE with A/C is set to 1150 RPM, but it struggles to hold that (I’ve tried 1000 but then it really struggles). I suspect it has something to do with my idle screw settings, but I’m hesitant to touch anything before this trip since I have the car running pretty good otherwise (and because I’m not 100% I know what I’m doing).

^ The will be a number of knowledgeable persons in attendance that I am sure would be open to assisting you. I know Ihor from IRP will be there as well as Dale Clark, to name a few.

Sounds like you might have a minor vacuum leak. Tried having or doing a smoke test on your engine/hoses?
