Question There should be an ignore feature or better moderation

I think there should be an ignore feature, that doesn't allow certain people to post on your thread or at least require your approval for what they say.

This feature could be limited to the lounge.

I've been on this forum for quite some time, and I've always enjoyed coming here to learn and help others with their problems. One thing really bothers me, the people that have nothing nice to say, are intentionally rude and ignorant , and provide no information to help you and no information related to your post.

I was under the impression the lounge is for people to talk about whatever they want to talk about, every time I post there I am badgered by the same people.
These people seem to multiply fast and group up together, I'd like to see it stop, not just for me but for anyone else who is subjected to this behavior.

Thanks

You're right about the lounge. The lounge is for users to talk about whatever and say whatever. Whenever they are commenting on your threads they are simply using that "lounge freedom".
You will never see them stop. If a large group of people all say the same thing you may want to look at their stimulus. Whether that stimulus is them being a dick or a stupid thread, comment, or post.

If you have a problem with a post in your thread, you can always contact a Moderator in that section. The list of mods in that section are listed at the bottom of the main page.
If a post is inappropriate, or offensive, you can always click on the "report post" icon and it will be reported to a Moderator such as myself. As far as the lounge rats. Yes they have a click, and it always seems to be the same group of guys that hang out in there that post the same crap day after day. Hell I don't even know if any of them actually have RX-7's anymore. Lol.
You can always try DoO or Maybe another section if it is fitting.
Good luck, and if you have further concerns, feel free to contact us. That's what we're here for.
Thanks,
Robert, Super Moderator.

And, in fact, there is an ignore feature on this forum that will automatically edit out posts by someone you deem offensive in nature or in their method of replying.

That being said, the Lounge is the Lounge and you get what you deserve when you post in there. I never post in there and I'm an Admin who can delete at will anyone's post on this website. Should tell you something. This is a car forum, after all.
