I just got tired of every single time I logged in, the lounge was full of Obama did this threads, or the economy is screwed because of some other politician.
I mean come on... this is a car board... not some political debate forum. Politics has only a tiny place in the car world, and that is just to rally support against some anti car legislation and to ban the use of Honda's all together.
So in a rare and unprecedented move, I unilaterally abused my power without consulting a single other person and moved all the crap political threads out of the lounge and re-opened the Politic section just for those whiners that want to overthrow the government for some (more than likely) fantasy reason.
So you are welcome BackyardSog and anyone else that was as fed up with it! Thanks for the thumbs up!

ah, I'll get rid of the sticky in a couple of days after the other admins have seen it.
What I would really like is if, people like Jhammons and bajaman and others that are very outspoken, use that new section to announce their own run for local or state or federal government. Hell, I might even go to IB and ask if they could advertsise their run's for office; for free, as members of the community.
If they really want to change the way this country is being run, they need to step up and do something about it. Run for political office so they can make a difference... not just bitch on a car board about the world around them. Bitching on a car board will never ever solve anything.
