i suggest a lower post requirement to become a full member. I've been this status for many years and was unable to sell my rx8 on here bc I didn't want to spam. Now I can't buy the FD I'm looking for unless I post

 

I suggest making another branch of the new member's section that allows free discussion of things other than technical issues/greeting people/site recommendations. I know there aren't many people that are technically adept enough to give answers and there's even a 3 post limit in the greetings section.

 

First of all you want to turn the Forum into Craigslist so you can buy and sell.
Pop on,sell a car..buy a car..
Now you want to revamp the NEW section?

Maybe you can take some time to actually see what the forum has to offer in terms of Info,builds,Tech advice,vendors,..and then you will realize that the Forum was not created to BUY and Sell.
It was created as a technical site and the creation of a Section so the MEMBERS could buy and sell WITHIN the forum was integrated into the Site as a BONUS.
