Exclamation Seller Verification

Hey all. I have been looking throught the good guy bad guy section, and have noticed alot of "bad guy" posts going on, due to bad transactions. I really think that we should have a list in here by admin with a list of verified sellers. I know that the owners of this site are not responsible for bad transactions, but it is becoming rediculous, how many "bad" transaction are taking place. The guys that support this forum are begining to feel like "pray" to all these other guys(crooks!). I thing before anyone can post a sale thread, they need to be verified by the rx7club. Either by having full details and contacts of the individual or knowledge that one of the moderators or respectable forum members can vouch for the seller. Granted, I dont expect the rx7club.com to be responsible even if this was in place, but it would make alot more people feel safer to some extent why purchasing something. Maybe the verified sellers can be given an approval for a thread, or their names a different colour, or better yet a list could be generated , so buyers can refer to it , when they see a new seller or want to make sure the seller doesn't have a bad rep. I know we have the good guy, bad guy section, but that doesnt help after the problem has already happened. They might be warning people about the seller, but what happens when that post moves 10 pages down? No one even remembers about it.
If the seller has a bad transaction, then when a negitive comment in the good guy bad guy section has been made, verified, and hasn't been resolver within a certain about of time, them a negative mark should be presented on the list by that sellers name. After a certain amount of strikes, the seller is out.If they change their name and come back, Admin will have their info already , so they cant bring that foolishness because they can't be verified.

A next thing that could be done , is the rx7club could have an addition on the forsale forum, where forum memeber can sign in and purchase things through the rx7club from sellers. The buyer pays rx7club for the purchase and rx7 club buys the package, verifies the package, and then ships the package to the buy after settling shipping charges. Granted, this might be a little more cost for the buyer, with paying the rx7club fees for being the middle person, But this would also save people from losing even more money, expecially the people who have to pay a ton for overseas shipping, just to find out that ,the part was wrong or damaged, or the part never reached.

I honestly think this should be something that needs to be looked into urgently or this might be another failed forum, because of bad publicity.

I like the idea about a different colored name or bad marks.Another forum I use is northwestnissans.com They use a trader rating system. You can leave a comment on it and it is sort of like the ebay feedback system.I know it doesnt solve everything but it would help to give some buyers a heads up.

Supraforums also has a good rating system and a regulation on whether or not a seller can post items for sale.

We should put a limitation on for sale posting - ie, if you have less than X amount of legitamate posts/contributions, you cannot post items for sale. Also, if you have been less than a member for 6 months, you cannot post items for sale. Supraforums is pretty stringent on this policy and seems to have cleaned up their classified section. They also have a rating system that is directly linked to a Screenname/Membername - similar to Ebay feedback system.

i think they should suspend new users from registering for a while, most of the scams are by them, they would get rid of many many issues.
