For sale threads=bullshit

I'm so sick and tired of reputable sellers getting on the for sale sections, only to have the first 3 posts of their FS thread being **** on by some ******* who doesn't agree with their price. If it is a bum seller and someone is issuing a warning, I can see that if they are indeed a rip off artist, but the guys that come on this board and sell thousands worth of parts a month, and some low life gets on and just has to give their 2 cents even if they aren't interested in the part whatsoever.

All that kind of BS needs to be kept to PM's so the sellers can conduct business here and the buyers can buy good quality parts at whatever price it is they decide to buy at. Even if the price is way too high, it's the buyers own fault for not researching past and present FS threads to see what things are being sold for and compare to venders that sell new parts as well.

It's annoying to a buyer like me because I have to sort through 2 pages of internet DMC's just to find out all the details on the listed part. Mods either need to start deleting posts or find a way for maybe atleast the reputable sellers on this site to have command over their own threads so they can delete that crap out of their own for sale threads, just something.

Sorry, I guess I've just read about all the bullshit in the forsale sections that I can stand and I've read everyone's "2 cent" comments so damn much I could be a millionaire by now if that info was actually worth two pennies.

And why aren't known scammers banned from the site and still allowed to get on here?

In the 1st gen sections I monitor these very heavily and edit accordingly.
If you are in those sections and have a problem, please pm me and I will take care of it. :-)

My part out thread is a PERFECT example of these worthless wastes of flesh wasting my time and the buyers time. I think heckling sellers should be an offense worthy of a ban. Unless the seller is new or a scammer.

supraforums is very strict on this. they seem to live by the 'if you dont have anything nice to say...' rule.

+1 the FS/WTB sections could use some more moderation.

I'm generally calling for less moderation, but there, it gets bad sometimes.

I think it's only happened in a thread of mine once, but I see it in others threads all the time.

If you think the seller's price is out to lunch... oh well! I'm sure he'll figure it out when it never sells. And if it does sell, maybe it wasn't so bad anyways. If you want the item but don't want to pay the asking price, send an offer, don't bitch about it.

I've had this happen to me a few times. Once I really didn't like the way someone approached it and I PM'd him requesting him to remove his useless post. He got SUPER upset and started cussing at me via PM's.

I agree with the sentiments here and I feel a change would be very helpful.

If you ever have any offending posts please use the https://www.rx7club.com/images/buttons/report.gif button and report the post. The moderation staff will recieve an email and handle the issue accordingly.

If that doesn't work out please let an admin or supermod know.
