it was a joke. something several forum members cant seem to grasp. ive posted alot less " childish" things than that and got alot more shit over it.

Whether or not it was a joke, there are people out there that take that stuff seriously and religion happens to be a very personal subject for most.

i know, those people need to not take it so seriously, and not be offended by everything they read.

I definitely couldn't tell if it was a joke or not (it's online...tones aren't conveyed too well via text ;) ) and while you have and are entitled to your own opinion about religion, others do take it VERY seriously and have the right to do so as well. I take religion w/ the utmost seriousness...there is religion, and then there's everything else. I'd die for it, and wouldn't hesitate for a second. So what you may nonchalantly say w/o a care in the world may very well offend and injure someone in the deepest areas possible. That's how many wars start - real ones. So just be mindful of how you joke, as even jokes have their limitations (and consequences).
