Got the same problem. Can view the PM in the email notification but not on the site. Shows I have a new message but the message doesn't display.

 

IT seems the PM database just takes a while to update...sometimes 1 minute, sometimes 1 hour. IF you make changes or get new messages during that update cycle, they will not show up...until the update takes place. Those messages that you delete, will go away whenever the update happens.

It is a pretty stupid problem to have to put up with, though.

 

If you have the popup PM notification you can click the option in the popup to view the new PM in the current window. That will take you right to the PM and you can read it. When you exit PMs and go back into PMs the new message still won't be there until the update though.

 

Does anyone have a problem where they cant delete there SENT box?

Yeah, now the **** is really jacked up. The header says I have about 10 pm's but the inbox is not showing any new ones. Same for rx8club, so it is a server issue apparently.

 

Is anyone else noticing that PMs arent getting sent out?

Always shows i have that many unread but my total is 308 how does that make any sense. When ever i do get a pm it adds to that tried deleting all of them but does not go away. Think it was a glitch during one of the updates.

 

I have one that shows unread that has been there for 4 months. Yet, now new PM???? What's up with that?

 

I dont know if i am the only one. But when i get a new PM i can not read it for a while. It says I have an Unread Message but when i go to my PM box it does not show up. then if i click on it like an hour later it will be there. Does anybody else have this problem or is there a way to fix it?

 

Happens to me all the time too. There is a way around it. Setup your account to give you a pop-up message whenever you have a PM. This pop up message will ask you if you wish to open it in the current window. If you click yes or whatever the prompt says to open the PM it will take you right to it and you can read it. If you click no and then go into private messages it won't be there and you will have to wait.

 

I haven't received a single one since the crash a little while back.

Its annoying trying to find threads I've posted in, especially with all the noobs and their non-searching retarded threads bumping others 2 pages back in the matter of minutes.
