It really needs to stop.


For example: How about a Sticky for "Bashing Sales" posts.

As a potential buyer/seller, it's really frustrating when I'm interested in buying a car, or trying to sell a car, but the next 3 replies are all "HeY d0oD, uR cAr sSuxZ! U'Ll nEvAr SeLl iT!"

I can appreciate the times where some people are trying to warn others about current problems with the car, that aren't stated in the original For Sale thread, but at the same time, it's not fair for anybody to be posting/quoting problems the seller HAD experienced with the car, that have/had been fixed.

It's like "OMG YOU'VE BLOWN YOUR MOTOR BEFORE, DON'T BUY THIS CAR!"

When the original seller might say something along the lines of "Blew motor in 05/05 and replaced with low-mileage JDM motor" or something.

It's like, what right do YOU have to say that kind of ****? If you haven't seen/heard/felt/driven the car in it's CURRENT state, what right do you have to bash someone's sale by posting prior issues with the car that have since been fixed?

People are on this forum for information, suggestions, and inciteful opinions. Not to be insulted, disrespected, or "bashed" by other members. Moderators need to be a little more strict on this matter, in MY opinion.

I agree most of the bashers know they will never come face to face with who they are bashing and live and hide behind a computer screen. In real life these same people that talk sh*t in here would just keep their mouth shut in fear of getting the sh*t kicked out of them. So this is one of the places technology (the internet) has allowed them to feel big and talk huge smack. I would just ignore em as much as you can. Also usually people with a sh*t load of posts in the short amount of time being a member talk the most ****. For example someone on here who has like 12000 posts in 3 or 4 yrs huge *** loser. Or someone whom has like 2-3000 posts in like 2 yrs same. I dont see how these people can even work on there crap when they are constantly running their suck in here. Plus those same people never take time to listen as they are to busy trying to build posts and talk smack. Like this post here has nothing to do with my car but it will count on my post count.

And coming in the "suggestions" fourm to bash. What losers u are. I bet your in your pajamas in your room in your parents house when u bash to. ha ha ha.

 

On a serious note, threadcrapping isn't allowed at ALL in the for sale section. I dunno how things work in the FC section, but in the FD section, it doesn't fly at ALL (esp. the parts for sale section). I don't think sellers need to tolerate any negative comments about price etc... unless, as you said, a seller's been hiding some info and is trying to take ppl for a ride... and even then you better be REAL careful and 100% positive of your accusations.

As for just straight up bashing...eh...it's the RX7Club. It's the toughest, roughest flamefested forum I've come across. Ya grow thick skin, or ya don't last very long. I take it you haven't enjoyed the Days of Jimlab, huh? I've seen him bash ppl SO HARD that I wondered if they cried...lol

True, but we're all getting tired of the level of disrespect around here. The way it should be is that ALL members of the site are automatically given a certain level of respect from the fellow members ... we're not each others enemies. But people just love to say disrespectful things to bring attention to themselves.

And only after somebody does something blatantly deserving should they be shown anything other than respect.

I think respect is my word for the day. Things would be so much nicer with a little bit more R E S P E C T
