i think it would be a good idea not only for those who are interested and have questions but also for the guys that already have finished the swap to share useful information, their results, their feelings about the end-result, what they would have done differently, and so on. There's a wealth of info that can be available to people who are looking for it. Sure there's TC but what's wrong with more than one source?

The close-minded rotor-heads just need to accept that this is a growing trend- and a successful one at that! The redneck insults are just the obvious traces of ignorance and fear.

This thread cracks me up.

how about SR20 conversions? nobody's bitching about that.
and sp-power's 2JZ-GTE powered rx7?

I'm sticking to rotary but exploring options isn't a bad thing.

That's because V8s (even light, efficient V8s) are somehow inferior to every other motor.

If the SR20 and 2JZ swap were as popular, I'd say create a section for those as well.

Why would you buy an rx7 to put a V8 into it?
It goes "Clink, clonk, clank, bum, bum, bumbo"
LS1 hahaha. Just buy a Camaro.
Put the ls1 into a civic instead, don't make roarty look bad.

Learn the significance of a rotary!

I'll bet all the people who poo poo LS1 swaps would jump on the opportunity to drive one. I don't mind them at all, its all very interesting. By the way, I also don't hold anything against Carrol Shelby, even after he was driven off the AC Car Club.

Calm down! Nobody is being excluded from the site! How are LS1 cars excluded? Have all the threads about them been getting deleted and the thread starters banned? No.

The question was if LS1 conversions need their own section broken out of "Other Engine Conversions". That answer is no, as presently there is not much traffic in that entire section. If that changes in the future and traffic about LS1 cars becomes high than it can be changed but right now it is not needed.

This is not some dark vendetta against piston powered cars
