I miss absolute timestamps
The forum should leave the post time as it was
like 01:17:22 am
not something like 11ty billion minutes ago, 3 hrs ago, 4days ago
u leave the exact time people will figure out themself how long ago was that

I miss absolute timestamps
Since about a week ago the timestamps have turned to "fuzzy time." I like be able to look at a thread and know the play by play on it's creation. I can't really imagine this saving significant resources either expecially considering the database probably still saves an absolute timestamp. Perhaps an option could be put in the user control panel to go back to the old behavior?

As I started to read this I found myself agreeing with you but by the time I started posting I realized that it really doesn't matter if the post was last monday or last saturday because in the end the thread is a week old. I don't see the detrimental parts of it at all. I know some of you are control freaks of bandwagon jumpers but I honestly don't see the problem. Would I benefit from knowing a thread was made on May 12th at 2:45 PM over knowing it was made "yesterday?" I think not. Not even in the for sale section.
I just don't see the problem. Maybe you can all enlighten me on issues I might not be able to see.
