how to contact a moderator that is active on this forum???????

wheres a MODERATOR!? OR ADMINISTRATOR?

I have searched everywhere looking for a way to contact a moderator with the exception of viewing threads where a moderator has stepped in and said something! I just need to PM a moderator about a post. On many forums they have a section to report a thread or post to them and then they will pm you. Is there any moderator out here that can answer a simple question I have?

If a moderator reads this please PM me as I have an important issue I'd like to see if they could assist me with.

Thank you,
Jeff

In any section of the forum, at the bottom right it will list the moderators. Click their name, and PM them.

Jeff,
We do have the report a post function. The red triangle at the bottom of your avatar area is exactly that. :-)

I don't believe the email function is working to send the notification of the reported post to the admins and moderators.

thanks guys, I was hoping a mod would PM me after i reported a certain post but nothing yet.... I'm a moderator on a smaller community forum and we get **** threads all the time. I track the IP and delete them asap. I feel this forum is boring to most moderators they seem burned out on the job they doing for the forum. but thats just my opinion.

It's not boring, but there is just a lot of traffic for the moderators to deal with. Unless they are meticulous and read every message, they are going to miss things. Most moderators are just like normal users, they only read threads which interest them so they will miss some threads.

The main issue is that I don't believe the email functions of the forum are working. When you hit the "Report Post" function, it should send an email to all the moderators for section where the post/thread resides. I don't believe that is working (the "Report Post" goes into Limbo), so you'll have to directly PM a moderator in that section instead.

Post a link to the post or thread in question here so we can try to get someone to look at it.

hahaha omg looks like I sparked a bit of anger... out of no where I receive a PM from a moderator saying...

Signature picture

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Please downsize your signature picture. We are allowed a maximum of 20k, yours is a little over 62k.

Thank you,
Doc.

That was not anger. I checked your signature file size and it was too large. I asked you to resize it. Anger would of been me just removing the signature. :-)

We don't ban people for signature violations, Do we?
Yes, I got your pm, and I took care of your request as soon as I received it.

jeff,

Also on the main forum page near the bottom before the members names that are online. There is the view forum leaders link. That will take you to the complete list of mods/supermods/admin and what areas of the forum that they moderate.

BTW, after the switch to the new servers, it appears the email function is working properly. So using the "Report Post" function will email the moderators of that section with a link to the specified post/thread.

Send a PM to a Super Moderator:

https://www.rx7club.com/showgroups.php

The forum is in the process of changing ownership so there may not be anyone going through the admin mail account.
