Enforcement Signature Size.
Maybe I'm just getting old, but am I the only one that finds these huge signature pics distracting? I some threads the signature pics make up the majority of the thread, and often the pics have nothing to do with rx-7's. Talk about crappy signal:noise ratio! Hopefully the mods will start enforcing the limits stated in the FAQ:
1. Custom signatures are enabled, but any graphics used in such signatures are limited to a 20K file size.
2. Signatures are limited to six lines of regular text, including blank lines, or the equivalent size in picture, or picture/text combination.
3. There is currently no system to automatically check for signature size limits, so Admins and Moderators will be checking manually. Should your sig be found in violation, you will be asked to fix it; if you don't comply, it may be removed without warning. It is your responsibility to edit your sig and bring it within compliance.

WHat would really make the difference would be to set the forum up NOT to automatically incliude signatures with each post, as it is now. Used to you had to actually check the box to make it show up, so not as many people posted theirs, and certainly not in subsequent replies in the same thread. Now, the forum has it included in each post BY DEFAULT so of course you get a page full of sigs.
The extra 5k (or whatever the overage is) file size you are bitching about really isnt going to do jack one way or another unless you're on dial up connection, in which case you have no business browsing with sigs/avatars/attatchments being turned on anyway. Even when I had 256k cable I had no issues loading a whole forum page in <10 seconds (most of the load time was the forum server, not my connection).

I'm on DSL, so file size is not the issue. My complaint was that the technical discussions were lost amongst the big pics. It makes reading a thread very annoying when big pics, in some cases not even rx-7 related, appear every second or third post. One guy even had a 2mb animated gif of some girls in his sig!
I wasn't aware of the option to view threads without avatars and sigs. I've got that set up now, and I can now read without viewing the distractions.
