I finally received a notification this morning, albeit in my spam folder though.
That's the first one I've received in a half year or so.

And yeah, I do have AOL.

Regards,
Frank

UPDATE! I decided to take a more proactive approach...so I spoke w/ a Live Tech Support on AOL. Here's a transcript of the convo...

6:58:27 PMSystem Welcome Ramy ...
6:58:27 PMSystem Connecting to server. Please wait...
6:58:27 PMSystem Connected to server.
6:58:39 PMSystem AOLTechRRC has joined this session!
6:58:39 PMSystem Connected with AOLTechRRC
6:58:54 PMSystem Hello, Ramy. Welcome to Live Technical Support. My name is Renato.
6:58:56 PMSystem Ramy stated the question or problem as: I'm having problems w/ AOL's main email Spam Flter; it's not letting important emails through, even to my Spam box, even though.
6:58:58 PMSystem Are you signed on with the same computer that you need assistance with?
6:59:11 PMAOLTechRRC Glad to meet you, Ramy.
6:59:25 PMYou Ditto, Renato
6:59:37 PMAOLTechRRC We've helped a number of member in your situation. I can help you get this resolved.
6:59:45 PMAOLTechRRC Let me explain what causes this problem to occur and how we can fix this quickly.
7:00:00 PMYou k
7:00:02 PMAOLTechRRC Let's make sure your Mail and Spam Controls are set so that you're not blocking e-mail from the sender, from the sender's domain, or with certain content (hyperlinks, pictures, or words). We also need to check where blocked mail is going.
7:00:10 PMAOLTechRRC I will be glad to help you check your mail controls and spam folder settings.
7:00:19 PMAOLTechRRC We'll just take this step by step. You will be able to do that while you are still online. Here's how.
7:00:29 PMAOLTechRRC Please go to keyword: SPAM CONTROLS.
7:00:42 PMAOLTechRRC Let me know when you reach that area. Take your time, I will stay on hold.
7:00:57 PMYou im there
7:01:20 PMAOLTechRRC Great! You figured it out fast. Let's continue.
7:01:30 PMAOLTechRRC On the bottom part of Additional Spam Filters, you will see " Sender Filter " and EDIT link. I want you to click on EDIT link.
7:01:38 PMAOLTechRRC Once you click on EDIT link, a small window will appear on your screen. Please put a dot or period on the circle that says " Allow mail from all senders".
7:01:57 PMYou it's already set to that
7:02:03 PMYou (i already messed w/ my spam controls before)
7:02:06 PMAOLTechRRC Once done, click on SAVE button to change and save the settings.
7:02:40 PMAOLTechRRC Thank you. Please go back to Spam Controls again.
7:02:48 PMAOLTechRRC Click the AOL’S ADVANCED SPAM FILTERS link. Click CLEAR FILTER.
7:03:17 PMAOLTechRRC And to complete the steps, please go to AOL Keyword: Spam Controls.
7:03:23 PMAOLTechRRC Next to Sender Filter, click EDIT. Under MY SENDER FILTER SHOULD, click USE A CUSTOM SENDER LIST. Select the screen name that has been blocked, click REMOVE, then click SAVE.
7:03:47 PMAOLTechRRC To extend my assistance, allow me also to send you a follow-up email concerning this on what else you should take to completely fix the problem and you may keep this for future reference.
7:03:52 PMAOLTechRRC I would appreciate it very much if you can send me an e-mail of whatever the result is. So that I can give you further instructions if needed.
7:04:04 PMAOLTechRRC Ramy, you can reply to my email. I will extend my assistance on this problem. I will reply as soon as I read your email.
7:04:08 PMAOLTechRRCYou will receive your e-mail between 3 to 5 minutes since I still need to personally prepare it for you.

7:04:15 PMAOLTechRRC Please let me know of the results. I really want to make sure that the problem gets resolved for you to enjoy your online experience.
7:04:15 PMYou no one is on that list
7:04:26 PMYou i have no one on block
7:04:37 PMAOLTechRRC Thank you for checking that steps. If the undelivered e-mail originates from an Internet address, and Mail Controls are set to allow Internet e-mail, there are several steps you can take.
7:04:46 PMAOLTechRRC Please contact the sender of the e-mail to verify they have the correct e-mail address (screenname@aol.com).
7:04:54 PMAOLTechRRC If the sender has the correct e-mail address, please ask them try to send the e-mail again.
7:05:00 PMAOLTechRRC If there are difficulties sending the e-mail again, please have the sender contact the Postmaster of their domain (for example: AOL(R) Members would contact postmaster@aol.com).
7:05:04 PMYou and i have it to send spam to my spam folder, not delete it
7:05:11 PMAOLTechRRC The Postmaster will check for any e-mail gateway problems between the sender's Internet Service Provider (ISP) and the AOL(R) service.

NOT PART OF THE TRANSCRIPT:
At this point, I just wanna make sure all AOL users follow the above mentioned steps. In a simple format:

1) Go to Keyword: Spam Controls
2) The ""Word & Phrases Filter" should have "Off" written to the right of it. If it doesn't, click on "Edit" on the right of it, and remove any words it may be filtering.
3) "Sender Filter" should also read "Off." But Edit this one anyway. Make sure the first option, "Allow mail from all senders" is selected. And at the bottom, "Delivered to Spam Folder" is selected. Then click "Save."
4) "Content Filter" should also be "Off." If it's not, edit it.

These steps will help ensure EVERYTHING gets to your inbox (or spambox). Most spam is caught and sent to your spambox directly like this (so make sure to check it...every now and then real emails get sent there). Following the steps above may cause you to receive unappropriate emails - which I take no responsibility for. Do this at your own discretion. I'm simply outlining the steps so that NOTHING gets auto deleted, increasing our chances of catching the RX7 email notifications when they finally do come through.

Back to the transcript...

7:05:11 PMYou let me explain the situation
7:05:25 PMYou I'm on a forum
7:05:31 PMAOLTechRRC I'm all ears, listening, continue.

7:06:28 PMYou i've spoken to many of them...none of them (from the forum) can get these emails anymore

7:06:58 PMYou i do get notification emails from other forums, but none of this one
7:07:16 PMYou im trying to resolve the probelm

Ok, it seems that ever since the servers were upgraded, I'm no longer receiving email notifications to threads I'm subscribed to... Am I the only one?
