You forgot to put your location icon, therefor the thread was deleted.

Gotta vent for all the BS that's going on with this forum. Why is my post on the forsale section not listed? List the same ad on the other club and within 1 second it is listed so tell me what gives?

I been here since 2002 learned alot about rotary until most of the older guys start dissappearing(banned or got tired of the new system)

New system = new rules. New rules that were apparently not read well enough.

Okay, so you would rather have spam, no prices listed, no locations listed, and horribly written out classifieds threads?

Venting is one thing, but calling people moron's, and you've never met them, shows exactly how childish your complaint really is. We get paid NOTHING for the amount of time we spend on this forum and helping out the community when we can. It's not a 24 hour job, so we eventually WILL get to a thread.

Also, you posted your threads from 12am-1am on a Friday evening. You expected them to show up by the time you woke up? Most of the moderators are busy on the weekends (actually 95% of them are busy).

You have to give us a break as well, once you said 'morons' I did not even bother looking at your threads. This is me being honest here. However, your thread has probably showed up by now, if not by the end of the evening.

Please tell me you are not directing this towards me, after all I was nothing but polite when asking the question, I never expected it to be approved quickly but after a few days I was wondering what was going on. I understand that it was deleted because of location but could you have not added the location instead or is that not possible.

As for the the other answer I don't think we should attack the mods/admins, surely if we have a disagreement with them it is something that can be done/taken care of in PMs

Nope, I quoted jamespond24. You never said anything wrong at all in your original post.

Usually if a thread does not get approved it does not have either: FS/WTB in the thread title, location icon, and a price. Very rarely it won't be approved because of an ebay/craigslist link. There are numerous moderators for the Classifieds, IanS and myself being two of them, so usually a thread gets approved in less than 24 hours. If it happens that a thread is posted on a Friday evening it may not appear for up to 48-72 hours.

And I believe we have been running this for close to a year now, and it's run very very smoothly for the Staff and the Member's of the forum.

Come on guys we have had announcements at the top of every classified forum explaining this for many months?
Maybe we should change the thread titles of those announcements to "The Hottest Naked Women in the World thread". Then maybe you would pay attention? :-)

OK GUYS, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! READ THIS REGARDING YOUR CLASSIFIED THREADS!

IN CASE YOU'RE WONDERING WHY YOUR CLASSIFIED THREAD HAS NOT SHOWN UP?

Of all the help that I and the staff has assisted you with your bad sellers and you call myself and the other staff members, "Moron's". Where did you learn this? In How to win friends and influence others handbook?

That is a "Personal" attack and also is a violation of #1 and #4 of the user conduct codes. If I wanted to be a jerk about this I could ban you for a week and remove your selling privileges for a month.

As stated we have had very large font announcements at the top of every classified forum on this site for months and months.

I did everything asked when making a thread on the forsale section so why is it not listed?

Doc,

please close this thread I would rather a thread I authored not be associated with calling the staff names I have been talking with DKJ about this very thing and would rather be associated with trying to find solutions as opposed to causing issues

It was an accidental mis-step on my part that the state icon was not on my original WTB thread, I did not miss it on purpose or i would not have asked the question, when I looked in this section I saw that due to reformating the forum some things were not working right therefore I was asking what happened did not want to create a duplicate post if you guys were already working on an unresolved global issue.

Now the flip side I do not see a reason to need a location in a WTB thread but those are the rules so I need to comply

Now you are going to tell me you don't know how to find your own threads?

https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-generation-rx-7-1986-1992-vehicles-108/f-s-87-89-t2-streetported-rebuilt-motor-%2A%2Acheap%2A%2A-818327/

I personally approved both of your threads at 9:08 pm today.

I'll close it and answer your question about why do we ask that you use the location icon for WTB threads.

Because there are WTB threads for cars and large items that members want to purchase from local members. So instead of having a very complicated list of reasons when the location icon should be used, we just made it simple that all "Classified" threads include the location icon.

I also appreciate the fact that you are wanting to find solutions as many members on this board tend to just look for a issue so that they can vent!

My recommendation for those that want to vent, get a hobby or take a big chill pill as we are tired of members who feel that this site or it's members or staff are to be their personal punching bag!
