Pics of carbon fc3s Gt300 hood on the car open/closed and 4 different views (front, sides, top showing fender gapand near windshield) of each previously mentioned position would be a great start there captain

Ha! I tried buying this hood on the 17th of august and after calling three times I finally got a salesmen that had the ***** to tell me it was out of stock on the 27th of august and I needed it by Sept. 1st for an event. On the 27th I asked for a refund of my money and it is the 18th of aug. and I still have no sign of my money and still have to pull teeth to talk to anyone. But anyways point is call to see if they even have the product in stock before sending your money.

Yes as I have been here these past few days I see and here a lot of this. If you order off the website it is going to take forever and it is ridiculous to understand. If you call before ordering I can explain the process. A lot of the things on the website is either not here or yes on back order. For refunds once you file with the salesman for a refund it then goes to the book keeper and is out of my hands from that point she refunds the money but sadly is only here every 3 weeks. Point being just as the gentleman above me announced just call before you order

I once ordered a RE style carbon diffuser for my FD...I waited a week and then called because it was still "being processed." Russ answered the phone on the first try (this is not made up, it actually happened) and was explaining to me the whole shindig about how they didnt have any in stock and it'd take 2 months to get MATERIALS from China...I told him nevermind and I'd just like to get a refund to which he replies: Well what about a hood? Maybe you want a hood?

I eventually convinced him I wasn't accepting anything except a refund (I later went with a Seibon TS hood FROM Seibon) but it wasn't that bad of a process. The money reappeared in my account within 24 hours. He seemed wishy washy over the phone and reluctant to do it at first but I did get my refund.

Hope you can make it better than previous management, Tres - folks are always looking for alternatives.

maybe a consideration would be yanking your website until you can create a shopping cart of parts that you can get or have. people don't like having money out of their wallet in your bank account waiting for the accountant to come in.

Personally I only met Russ one time and he did a lot of very bad things as a salesman. One thing that I strive to be is 100% honest. I'm a mechanic by trade and always lived life through honest labor trying to help the people. MY boss had a different view on how to treat people so I walked from that shop after 2 years. The website is one cluster **** after the next. I would say I am sorry for the behavior of prior sales man at this company but then again they have to look themselves in the mirror at night. I prefer to sleep with a clear conscious. I'm talking to the owner and the other people to see what we can do about the website Things just take time.

As for the r100 I'll check my inventory list and see what I have.

The hood after posting it I went into the back room and could not locate the hood and do not have any on my next shipment. Believe me I love the hood as much as the next guy and would have loved to see it on my car just as much on the next guys car.

Ps: don't be afraid to call to ask about parts I don't bite lol

Hi Tres-

Chaser has managed to develop one of the absolute worst reputations in the Body Kit industry. This is the 2nd or 3rd Management change in the last several years if I recall correctly.

While a significant issue has been the customer service...or lack thereof. A better question might be concerning the quality of your items...or lack thereof.

Your market seems to be the broke 16-24yrs old demographic who wants a "body kit" but doesn't understand quality. That's fine. However I'd suggest if you actually produce quality at a fair price...similar to Shine...you'd significantly reduce your customer complaints.

Until then...what have you really changed? If someone receives a crap product they are now serviced with a smile? Not a huge improvement.

Should be noted: I acquired two different Chaser Pieces through another individual that had never been mounted or painted. My experience with the "quality" of these pieces plus the other experiences of others have led to my feelings regarding Chaser "quality". I literally tossed the bumper and the fenders into the garbage after I had spent hours shaving, shimming and mounting them.

Chaser is not a paying vendor on the forum currently, so this section is closed until further notice.

Tres, if you'd like to re-up the vendor status, there is a sticky thread at the top of the 3rd Gen FS section re: Vendors.
