I'll start out with my company van ('02 Dodge Caravan), but I'm really hoping to be able to pick up my real winter car before the end of the year........'05 or '06 STi AWD 6 SPD in Black w/ the gold BBS wheels.

Fingers have been crossed for so long I've got cramps!! LOL

They can do 160kph, how fast do you want to go?? LOL...

With the WS-50, I'd think you'd have 20 cars on him if you launch from a stop.

Is it just me, or are speedratings on snow tires just kinda....hypocritical?

I understand that, yes, its not snowing ALL the time or icy ALL winter....but who SERIOUSLY needs snowtires rated for 200+km/hr? Are we ice racing? lol

Some peoples Speedometers touch 200km/h at a stop light. I just wish their heads would touch a brain. Mudflaps dont stop every airbourne object.

02 protege LX special edition (ES suspension) when in winnipeg

when back in guelph I now have a choice (?) .... since my daughter has hijacked my 94 jeep GC to niagara college in welland, Ill be alternatating between her '84 v6 capri and my old dads '85 cultlass( 4 door) supreme ...... complete with velour interior.

gotta love carbs, chokes, locking brakes and rear wheel drive .... watch out if you see me in a snow storm near you.

The BEATER CAR!

a 1997 Pontiac Sunfire
- When mom bought it she didn't notice that the key only opened the driver's door and worked the ignition... Passenger door and trunk didn't take the same key (and we never got a copy of whichever key that is)
- Got "hit-n-run" in an underground parking garage which forked up the front fender... which was replaced by a silver one that was rattlecan'd black to "match" the rest of the car
- The reverse light caught fire and set the trunk on fire, burning through the trunk release (the only other way we had to open the trunk.. so now we don't trunk things)
- The odometer reset needle is stuck inside so it keeps going "tick, tick, tick" and never moves
- The wiper arm is broken
- The LCD on the radio doesn't work so you can't tell what time it is or what station you're on
- The lumbar support in the seat broke so when you sit in the driver's seat your back conforms to the unnatural convex shape of the seat instead of the other way around.
- The tires are so bald, I told her it was a death trap three winters ago, and now the belts are starting to poke through
- The oil hasn't been changed since... ever?
- The water pump blew a massive leak.

So now she hasn't driven it in 4 months, I'm gonna patch it up, toss some tires on it and drive it 'till it dies

Jon

With the calibre of cars you have, I think you need a RS4 ..... A4 would not cut it.

I'll be driving my 91 NA FC. This'll be the last winter though, I'll be graduating in 2008 (will be at school all winter 07/08 without the car), and I'll buy a different DD when I get a real job, probably a Toyota Echo hatch. Then the mods to the FC can get crazy!
