thanks for the link ... I like the signature . the vert has 2 of 3 , the SA only 1 of 3 . Neither really have speed , which is why I'm really hoping the next one is a FD.

any good rotary mechanics in wpg ???

Fred out on St. Mary's is your best bet, he mostly does work on FB's and FC's. I'll see if I can dig up the number if you're really interested.

Oh and as for all the other owners, where were you all hiding?

Yeah Fred is you best bet in Winnipeg. He knows these cars well and he doesn't charge an arm and a leg. Any other mechanic I've tried (even the Mazda dealerships) seem incompetent and over priced when it comes to these cars. Many mechanics will out right say they won't touch it, which makes me wonder what kind of mechanic they really are since there are a lot less parts to a rotary engine and have a simpler design. An engine is an engine. It they are not man enough to tackle the Mazda then I'm not taking my Buick or lawn mower there either.

There are 3 others my color. I know b/c i saw the other three all at once parked within 2 blocks of each other. haha. At one point three of them were parked at Earl's on Main street.

I know of 2 red ones as well. Have seen a black one.

So there is at least 7 of them.

I want to get another FD. Mainly b/c I am a sucker for punishment.

Here is an old picture, not the best, it was taken as just before winter last year. This is the only one I can find right now.

Fred's not the best, he built my fc engine, took like 6 months, and even then the engine wasnt running right so he had to take it apart again and the bearings were knocking... so he had to take it all apart now etc... i wouldnt trust freddy worth a ****, he's a rip off, and i hope you read this fred. So i got fed up with the car, sold it to someone and the engine blew because he left the cas 180 degrees out and blew all the seals, and he stated it wasnt his fault and never warrntied the engine.. when he did build it, it was still smoking and couldnt fix it... i thought he was a good rotary tech myself thats why i took there in the first place but ended up getting fucked... I had a red turbo 2, with to4, greddy intercooler, power fc etc...
