Where is a good place to get a rebuild kit for a S4 13B here in Canada? I would really like to get something here and not have to ship one from Atkins or something. After my experiences with UPS, I would NEVER think of shipping something so expensive over the border. They'd probably charge me something like $300 brokerage on a $1000 rebuild kit. But I can't wait for regular mail to get it to me. Anyway, does anyone know of a place to get decently priced rebuild kits here in Canada?

 

How long do you want to wait?

I could have a full Atkins rebuild kit to my door within a week for around $1000 including taxes and shipping. The folks at Atkins treat me very well

 

Well, I first have to decide for sure that I want to rebuild this engine. Then when I do decide, I have to tear it down to find out exactly what kit I need. After that, I would prefer it not take much longer than 1-2 weeks.

If you have it apart, it only makes sense to replace everything. To me anyways.

Theres no point in putting brand new apex seals in and re-use "in-spec" side seals.

Replace everything and then you know exactly what you have. I have thrown out sooo many used seals and springs that probably could have been used again, but I'm definalty not taking that kind of chance.

Anyways if you want the Atkins stuff then let me know before 7pm weekdays and I can order you a kit.
