I know a guy in Mississauga that did a few 1jz swaps in FCs ....

Last time I talked to him, he wanted $1500 - $2000 for labor and anything he needs fabbing up, provided you supply motor, tranny, ecu and wiring.

Let me know if you want his contacts

I don't know where they are now, but they were done at a shop at Dundas and Dixie.

He was doing some 2jz swaps into Volvos while I was there last time.

You sure can ... but you'll still have to do everything yourself ... so 20 hours of labour or so?
If you don't need labour, he can probably sell the mounts by itself.

Ya man i just need the mounts I can install myself it wouldn't be my first swap not by a long shot lol

Just wiring it in will be fun, plumbing the rad and an intercooler

But the hardest part IMO is finding a good set of brackets for mounts is what i need right now or I should say is where to get a good set i give myself realistically about 2 months before i can put a motor in

gotta save that coin motor went when I was just starting to think about doing this

Lol I would keep it But i don't trust Buying a jdm keg, and i dont want to spend 2k to rebuild it stock properly (i know it will need Housings at least one)

i feel comfortable with the 1jz and the power it can build even though ill miss the powerband of the rotary I'll love having torque lol

Strangely enough i've been looking at granny's speed shop swap a v8 kit from them is dirt cheap.....

Hybrid G if you have a garage I'd be more than willing to pay you for your time I dont mind cutting up stuff and fabbing i just don't trust my welding and dont have a place to do it

If you tack it together, I can weld it up for you. I'm in Hamilton but am working by Pearson for now.
