ON Where to look for used cars

So...I am switching jobs, and will no longer get a company vehicle. I won't be missing by 2017 ram 1500 with a 3.6L v6 mated to an 8 speed automatic. It has led me to searching for relatively cheap cars, and it appears that there are some affordable tdi's that will fit my bill. In particular, I've take a liking to the MK 4 Jetta wagons. Just wondering where, other than Kijiji and autotrader, should I be looking for them? tdiclub has rejected me from joining their forums so I can't ask them for their opinion.

If this is against rotary rules, I apologise, and feel free to delete the thread.

Try Facebook marketplace. You can set the radius for searching and specific item groups such as cars.

Word of advice be careful of the autos as they are really weak (ask me how I know) and prepare to do some body work as most mk4s are high KMs and Jettas tend to rust on the sill, bottom fender and rear fender.

Personally I'd pick a B5 Passat tdi as I just prefer the B chassis over the A. Plus you get a 65L tank and the roominess is definitely welcome. There was a nice wagon 5spd manual 04-05 for like 4500 on Kijiji awhile back

I'll have to look into this Facebook Marketplace.

Thanks for the words of advice. Both my significant other and I would like a manual. She even shuddered when I mentioned an automatic.

I'll take a look into the passat based on your advice, but I generally prefer smaller cars.
