Flash meet at Airport MacDs brought out some of the big time hooners in the group.

Norhtwest National drag racing in Washington State, Revscene Summer meet at Tsawwassen Mills, All Japanese Classic meet at Waterfront Park, it was a packed Sunday for WCR members.


Force Feds drag RX7 posted a time of 7.76 seconds at the nationals.


David and Adam's cars shone at Revscene.

 

 

 

Carol Coulson's mint 1982 RX7 (FB?) placed second overall at the Crescent Beach Concours d'Elegance today, second only to a $25 million Ferrari 275 NART Spider.


Crescent Beach is an internationally recognized Concours and has judges from around North America. This was the first year they had a "Post War Japanese Imports" section, perhaps reflecting the long history of Japanese cars on the Westcoast and strong enthusiast community.


Certainly having an FB place second overall is a milestone and Carol is to be congratulated on presenting such a fine car.

Putting together a rotary mini-meet. 2:15 October 9th at Willowbrook Mall, Langley, . B.C. upper side of North parking lot up the hill from Starbucks.

Expecting about 10 cars, FD, FC and FB.

 

Fantastic weather prompted a quick trip out to Alouette Lake Provincial Park.

 

The V8 came late but was worth the wait. Great afternoon at Willowdale and a fun run back into town on 99 through the tunnel.

Would be good to drive the RX-7 out to BC for a meet next year.

Picked up a 93 LHD with 90,000km's last september... was parked in a rich guy's garage under a tarp for 8 years.

Saved up all year to get a huge number of things done to it to hopefully get some good driving time in for 2018.

Currently getting a full workover with all the parts in my signature at Vex Performance.

 

Several of our group got hired on with their cars as extras in a Dwayne Johnson movie being filmed in downtown Vancouver. They spent a cold rainy night on set until 6:00 am yesterday. Excited to see their cars in the movie. Hope they make the cut. Local RHD heroes on the set of Skyscraper, Oct 2017.

 

Mild clear night in Vancouver had tuners roaming the byways. We pulled together 5 cars at Byrne Road on short notice. First time out for Tommy with his old-school veilside front bumper.

 

After record rainfall in Vancouver (which means a LOT of rain), we found a break in the clouds out in Tsawwassen. New owner stretching the legs of his 97 gunmetal grey refurbishment project. Looking slick!

Last weekend's heater core replacement, dash removal and re-installation project paid off!
