wankel weather?

we've got some high compression weather system keeping frigid temperatures locked here in winnipeg now for over two weeks ..... at least -30 with wind chill every day .... sun is shining though.

It's supposed to warm up a lot this weekend, we're talking ABOVE zero temperatures. Hopefully my car will be unburied soon.

Our weather forecasts really need to add the Intercooler Index (combination of elevation, atmospheric pressure and temperature)

Rain, Rain, Rain on Vancouver Island, Cold too, windy, the ferries are sinking, airplanes can't fly, fuel costs a $100 a liter. Good place to stay away from, you would not like it at all!!

I was up in northern alberta on tuesday and we rigged out our equipment in -41C with no wind. It was brutal.

It was nice to come home to -20C calgary. Today it looks much nicer.
