Trying to be a smartass...
Went at a Mazda dealer yesterday for pricing on an alternator for my POS 626.
350$+ for a reman alternator!
I figure it's time to hit the web for cross-check of which Ford model uses the same one. Found it! A ford Probe. Called up the Ford dealer this morning: 350$+ !

Oh yeah, did I mention this is for reman alternator? But, get this, "it's okay sir, because it's reman by Mazda/Ford" (got this same answer at both dealers)
Whoever said that Ford parts were cheaper has lied!
I will track him down and do him the mouse thing in the printer
Oh, did I also mention that I found a generic reman alternator for 150$ at the local auto parts? But, it's not "reman by Mazda"
