They said I have 2 opinions... Opinion 1 being the most intelligent one, in buying a $75 torque brace. Opinion 2 buy stiffer motors mount at $76, I was going to buy stiffer y mounts for my transmission at $19.52 each. All my mounts are all good my car has 80k. The only problem is the first and reverse shuttering which is a design flaw of the FC3S. I guarantee their engineers are more intelligent than all of us put together. I have compete faith in this amazing company. If even it is a POS...I have covered my *** with that simple phone call and receipt.

I'm going to do you a big favour and tell you that your going to hate that engine brace. First of all, you have to drill through your fender to install it. Not a huge deal in and of itself, but still, you shouldn't have to drill through the body to install something like this. There are 8 perfectly good strut mount studs that would do the job just as well. I now have a big hole in my fender that doesn't need to be there because these guys can't update their designs. This is the exact same design as the first gen torque brace.
Second reason you'll hate it is it takes up way too much space and makes working anywhere near the drivers side firewall a complete pain in the ***. Anything like swapping the clutch slave cylinder requires removing the mount. Just installing it is a pain in the ***, only to have to take it off to do any work.
This one from Mazdatrix is a much better design and although you have to buy their strut tower brace to use it, it doesn't require anything more than bolting it to the brace. You get the benefit of a proper torque damper AND a 3-point strut tower brace. http://www.mazdatrix.com/h7.htm
While yes their engineers know what they are doing, this part was designed a very long time ago. It is dated, poorly thought out and there are much better options available. Your not going to convert your car to a points ignition system just because the Mazda engineers in 1973 knew what they were doing, are you?
And not to be nitpicky even though, well.... I am, you mean options, not opinions.

I've been on my hockey pucks for 2 years now and they seem to work great. i'll change them out this spring but they still seem in good condition. i'll mention that i was having a problem with the steel bolt making a solid thud on the sub frame every time i let off after full boost. I added another hockey puck to the bottom of the sub frame it it works great. i really like that i can loosen the bolts and have less vibration and at the track tighten them up for very little engine movement. i will mention that going from stock mounts right to solid at the track you'll notice that it's easier to break traction.
