Can anyone recommend a good GTA area repair shop?

Hey guys, I'm near Port Union and 401 area, and I know Mazdees is probably the closest, but are there any other options in the Toronto area? Preferably closer to the Scarborough area?

I need to get the motor swapped, and I already have a second motor with me.

Yes he does emission testing.

 

He does? Dont you need a roller dyno to do e-testing?

Last time I was there he didn't have one. Unless he gets 'e-tests'

He doesn't have an emissions testing machine, but he can have a legitimate test performed on your car for you.

 

is stu still on heritage? someone told me a new 4x4 shop just opened at 12 heritage... i know there were 2 units there... just wondering if canjam moved or if the 4x4 shop is in there place now...

 

So it would be no different than if he took his car to a shop...

Obviously. But he's taking his car to the shop to have other work done, and when he returns to pick it up, he'll have a valid emissions test. Who cares who owns the machine, the job will be done regardless. Lots of shops do this...

I have taken both my 7's into Mazmark for work (clutch replacement, basic tune ups etc) and was quite satisfied with the work/service received. My philosophy on mechanics/garages....try it once. If I do not like the end result...I never return.

Thanks for your input. So I went to Mazmark a few weeks ago, and the place is not bad, Mark seems to know his stuff. I will definately go back.

I don't recall if we have met. I haven't been to the meeting for quite some time. I think last time was a RX-8 meet a few years back. But I'm planning to attend the Mazda meet on Aug 11, sounds like a big event there!!
