Thinking about my broken 7 (opinions plz)

Well if you don't know I have a 87' GXL with a broken water seal and 300,000+ km on it (I think the km has been tempered with but no proof) and I was told the car has it's original clutch, transmission, and fresh rebuild on the engine (wasn't true because it had allot of flooding problems) and the water gauge stopped working right before I took it off the road the body is in good shape ( it only has a few small rust spots and a small hole in the floor (not from rust). I interior is an ugly red (but I can change that in time). I do love this car even tho I haven’t had it that long and done want to get rid of it because I like the GXL.

So I'm right now my plan has changed from before. I was getting a place where I could work on my 7 for a few years so I could put in the turbo II drive train. Now my big decision is should I get a second car and drive it and let my 7 sit in a field and rebuild it when I get space or replace the parts my 7 need and make it my daily driver??

don't let it sit in a field, you'll never drive it again.

fix it, enjoy now!

Welcome to the ..Triangle Zone!..I'm sort of in the same boat..now I have a couple of cars with various issues..should have stuck with one..thought if I get another for drivin,I could fix the other..then the number of cars grow..you have to make a decision..you can fix it or kill it..the thing being is, that if you put it off, you may not get back to it...and if you like the car you have right now (you know the car inside/out )..why buy another?..you may end up with 2 problems..and two field cars..SO that bein said,I say fix it..(what happens when your "new"one breaks?)..all the best to ya ..
