Aaron, I don't drink alcohol. Will a Coke due? Or how about some Strawberry Pineapple bubble tea with Tapioca?

As for the better gas mileage from v-power, you wouldn't be the first one who has noticed this. V-power has 0% ethanol so if the other fuel has ethanol, your gas mileage will be better with v-power.

Maybe your light stopped working

Just the reduced drag on the alternator from the missing low fuel light might be increasing your mileage.

You're all stupid, wasting so much power to parasitic loss in the turbines. Fine I'll let you in on the secret. The secret is DEI (with standalone engine management of course). You bypass the moronic turbo and use ALL of the exhaust pressure. It works like so:

That's where HHO comes in. Inject a little HHO into the process via a pedal-powered generator (that your passenger pedals, obvi), and you'll make enough torques to choke an elephant.

Pistons + Shell V power = have improved my observed fuel economy dramatically. It's rare I get less than 600KM on a tank these days.

I wish I can try Shell V-Power.
Damn my 93octane requirement.

Sunoco 94 gets me ~600km per tank.

Just thought I'd throw that in there. I should try some V-power. Maybe I'll break 35mpg on the old NA on a long trip.

If you only use 50Hz plugs, that extra 10Hz leaves more room for mad powa yo.

Do 60 hz plugs cause the 3600rpm hesitation? If I went to 50 would that beter resonate my fuel atoms, causing an instant doubling in fuel ecomomy?

While you're at it you should install those magnets on your fuel lines so the fuel molecules are better aligned for atomization.

The main problem with 60Hz plugs is that the 120Hz zero crossing creates a resonance wave in the wire which effects the cross-sectional current carrying capability. This causes a discharged effect not unlike you would see in an electrical storm with the current bouncing between ground and cloud. The current travel causes heating the wires which reduces their ability to carry current and thus causes weaker spark. The weaker spark, as we expect, fires the mixture unevenly which creates opposing forces on the rotors. This translates to intake charge pollution creating an opposite pressure wave and forcing the injector nozzles shut when they try to open. The resulting lean condition will be present unevenly across the rotor housing which will cause localized heating in the water jacket. This makes pressure pockets which stresses the housing to the point were tiny cracks appear. Ambient air will be drawn into the cooling system and contaminate it, which clogs up the rad in short order. With the rad clogged, the water pump will cavitate as it can no longer move fluid around and it will overspin, damaging it's bearings and tearing the belt apart.

you are correct, if he goes to 50 hz the idle is lower and he wouldn't have to change hi speedo...

On a semi-related (and actually true) note: When I first installed my S4 conversion, I was not getting trailing spark. As part of the troubleshooting, I replaced the coil with a known-good unit. I started the car, and heard a strange noise from under the hood. Crazy crunch/crackle/grind noise. I'd never heard anything like it.

I opened the hood to find that I hadn't fully seated one of the trailing wires, and it popped out of the coil. The coil was thus dischaging right onto the shock tower with big blue arcs about 6" long.

So yes, you can get lightning under the hood of your 7.
