How about a swap meet for the meeting in May. I am sure we all have a few parts lying aroung collecting dust; might aswell sell em.

I have SO MUCH STUFF I'd love to get rid of it ALL.

I think I have enough parts to build a whole car. Actually, several cars.

I'm in for a swap meet for sure! Sooner the better!

Somewhere central, london or KW works for me. I don't want to travel much further than that. Maybe we could find a big automotive swap meet and make sure that there's some RX-7 content there for once? Might have more luck selling the stuff anyways.

It's a good idea, but I'm not sure how well it would work for the spring meet. Not sure if the mall would really like a bunch of people showing up and selling car parts in the parking lot. Just my 2 cents.....

This is not going to work guys, the past few years I have talked with Sherway Gardens about using the malls parking lot for a meet as we had people coming from great distances and I didn't want it being all for not, having to find a spot at the last minute would have been crazy....Their words to me were: "no problem until there is a problem".

Security at the mall told me their criteria " No noise, stunt-driving, drinking, vending, disturbing customers,etc....Remember this is private property and we need to live by their rules.
If any of the above takes place we will be escorted off the property by security / police.

I agree with Buggy, It's a great idea but would have to be eleswhere.

I think if it was limited to this forum we could be smart enough to abide by those rules. Especially if it was during daytime...

what about having the swap meet at a provincial park or somthing along those lines? Limiting it to this forum is a good idea.

A swap meet anywhere is a great idea, it would have to be agreed upon by the land/property owner though, If there's money being exchanged you can be sure a third party will have their hands out for a cut
Someone should start a new thread when a plan is worked out, I for one will be there.

Hardest part would be deciding what I actually want to sell. I'd probably end up going home with more stuff than I brought in the first place.

I honestly have enough parts to fill a 25' enclosed trailer. I'd be the happiest man alive if I came home with none of them.

Lets set up a swap meet somewhere else? hell, I'd host it at my house if people were willing to actually drive out here. (wheatley, ontario - near windsor!) I live out in the country and have a HUGE back yard. It would be no problem having a dozen vehicles parked in my driveway at the same time for a day.

Roads around here are boring but I'm sure we could find something to do afterwards.

I could host this at the shop.

I've got ample parking, could setup a little bbq etc.

Its kind of a middle ground for toronto, and london people.

If he doesn't, I do........... I even have the TII posi and TII gearbox, but I am not selling them right now. I will need them if I grenade the NA motor in the car. I will drop in a ........... (censored due to extremely explosive comment) and I need the torque holding strength.
