Popped a seal man!

I think something was damaged after my first night tuning 20psi. I had a couple of pulls that were in the 9.5AFR range, it ran through them smooth......but after that night there was a slight miss in the car that I couldn't fix - tried new plugs and alot of little checks. Then it just let go one night during a pull. I used up 75% of its life getting it tuned me thinks.

That engine has been through alot of crap though. Within the first 5 minutes of running it she saw 15psi on the GT35.....then the whole me tuning the old EMS.......the blown fuel pump fuse at 18psi/5500RPM.....then more tuning on a new EMS......then problems tuning on that EMS.......then 7000kms of highway driving.....then more tuning.......

And I had the water off. Turned it off for tuning and forgot to put it back on

 

That'll do it. Sorry to hear but at least now you'll expedite that NRS engine And also you should be all ready to tune the girl.

Indeed it was awesome. Just got home infact. Had tons of fun throwing the FC around the turns on the track. Looking forward now to seeing everyone this comming weekend.

 

bad news is that it should rain on the 17th

 

Its only Monday, if by wed or thursday it shows rain then we will have to make a change.

Yea it's hard to tell. I listened to the weather tonight. One day it's suppose to be sunny, the next day rain, then sun again the next. This week is just a mixed bag as far as the weather goes.

 

looks like i have to pull out ... I forgot to book it off at work and it might be too late

 

so now that there is mention of rain, is this rain or shine for most? I know neo's car wont be there in the rain (or shine as it is now, lol). but what about everyone else? Im in rain or shine, but im not driving to T.O. only to find out everyone else isnt.

I just looked at the forecast. It said mix of sun and cloud with a 30 percent chance of showers. Those odds sound good to me.

 

Some of the 8's are backing up, i am forming the list now.

 

I'm back in the game ! was able to switch a shift from work with it raining today, should bring the chances of rain over the weekend

 

sweet so it is still a go! i purposely book a day off for this! lets make this happen guys!

 

Rain on Saturday for us London people (how I will clean the car, I do not know) but the forecast for Toronto on Sunday shows 0%. Yay!

FYI, call the Outback and check if they are still there. Last I heard they were sold back to the US chain and they closed all the Ontario locations...

 

Count me in. I need to meet some of you guys and get over shyness issues. As well as idea for the small fixes on my FC. And as its a 15 minute drive, I can't blame distance if I fail to make it.
