speedometer help

i need a little bit of help. The original speedometer in my FD decided not to work anymore. it had 91,266km on it. I was able to pick up another speedo for it, but it has 123,xxxkm on it. Is it possible to somehow roll those kilometers back, so that it says what is actually on the car?

please, any help is much appreciated.
thanks

Mike

If you manage to roll the numbers back, they will never be lined up straight.
Anyone looking at it in the future will know it was tampered with.
Why not tag your original speedo with present replacement mileage of the new one.
You could use that to prove the original mileage that way.
Good luck in your quest.

speedo roll back i figured wouldn't be fraud if i was rolling the replacement back to the one that was in it originally..

i think i'm just going to try to repair the original, with the write up i saw on here earlier.
