ON So...

I was at my car today and looking her over and trying to see how much work I have ahead of me, when I found a glass moonroof and sunroof (including the bag) in my trunk. I'm not sure what I wanna do with it yet, seeing how my car has no sunroof.

So I'm wondering if I should hold on to the stuff (in case I end up with a GSL-SE) or if I should sell it. How much would I get for it? I was going through the form and found only one other ad and the guy sold it for $125US...

What do you guys think? I'll try and take some pictures tomorrow and add then to my album so you can see. :-)

Isn't the glass moonroof for the non SE 1st gen? Does it have two clips at the front and a **** at the back?

Those will fit either a GSL, or GSL-SE. The metal panel most people don't look for unless theirs is damaged. The glass ones however are a choice item if you have a sunroof. I paid $200USD for mine and was happy to pay it. If another first gen is in your future I'd hold onto it, but otherwise I'd sell it to someone willing to pay for it and use the money towards other needed parts.

Yeah, I paid $250 for mine and didn't bat an eye at the price. That was probably about 8yrs ago. They're very much sought-after in the first gen community. Any 81-85 rx7 with a factory sunroof can take it.

So if you see yourself getting any FB with a sunroof, keep it. Otherwise, you'll likely have no trouble selling it at all.
