Hey ur not the only one dreaming of this. I may actually do something similar to this soon. I'd imagine bead blasting the frame and body would cost quite a bit though. Hopefully someone on here can give us a rough cost....

dipping is the only way to strip the shell, the floor can be blasted (check for my project pics from last summer) the body, if blasted, by really any media would be so warped it would almost irrepairable.

Dipping the bare shell would probably run 800-1000 bucks, if you know an acid shop with a tank big enough.

I blasted my floor and all my jambs (around doors, windshield, sunroof and rear glass) then patched a couple necessary holes and sprayed tintable turck bed liner on the whole under side, the body is being done right now...keep your eyes peeled.

edit - for prep costs pm me oh and any dreams you have can come true....but your wallet may not like it - lol
