What is this about, has anybody done one? Is it like a Solo 1 event or a free for all. How do they time it? Do they allow race cars or only street cars and how do they define the classes? Is there any practice?

I might be interested in dragging out the RX7, putting anti-freeze in it and giving it a run, if it makes sense.

Time Attack is like the solo events, one warm up 3 hot laps and a cool down lap, your fastest hot lap will be your time. I don’t think they would have the time attack with the day being so short (1pm till 5pm)….Great fun none the less.

20B, I am hearing rumours about what you guys are going to do after the RX7 is sold.

There you go AL... or maybe you should try and see how that cosmo handles...

 

My track days are over for this year! Unless I get offered a Z06 or a Ferrari, I will wait to drive my cars next spring (lol) The Cosmo is all cleaned up and safely in the showroom where it will now live for a while. The scary thing about driving the Cosmo is knowing that if someone hits it I will never be able to get the parts affordably to repair it!

 

I had my car out at Dragonwerks dyno and there is liquid salt on the highway on the way home.

I'm out.

But for the fifth year in a row I keep on saying next year I will be out in force so I will say it again. Next year is going to rock!

 

Yah, I noticed the salt lines too... Isn't it early to spending money on the salt trucks >_>

glad I live in the south, if I get lucky there won't be salt down here for another 2 solid months.

realistically though, I've got 3 or 4 weeks left.

If there's salt on the roads up there, you can count me out :P

You really see it the day they spray. Then it fades out but its still all over the roads.
