RXTuner, what's the deal?

OK, I responded to that random spamish thread just underneath this one. Upon reading Viperniscus' response about the 1st gen section thread, I went ahead and read it along with many of the other ones the OP started.

I was under the impression that Canadians were getting stiffed on subscriptions because of "crossing the border" complications. Or so I was told my whomever I spoke with on the phone a number of years ago when this all started.

If that's the case, why do countless AMERICANS post that they aren't even getting their subscriptions?? It seems to me that inner-country mail should have no problems with customs, yes?

Im just a little sour about this and that random thread blew some pure oxygen on the dieing embers of that fire....just curious if anyone has any other info.

Seeing as how I don't feel like banning myself, Im going to spend the $3 and phone them myself and get an answer right from the horse's mouth....or ***, depending on what B.S. excuse I'm given.

/rant off

I actually found a copy of it, from like 2 years ago, on the magazine rack at the drugstore near my house -- bought it for novelties sake.

Classic you are correct. I have followed this issue on and off for over 2 years now becasue:
1. I paid and did not get what was promissed
2. I did notice that a lot of Americans were having the same problems too. Some even posted in on our canadain rant/posts about this.

I am curious to know as you are. It is too bad though. Obviously a lot of us want to buy this product if it was properly avaialble.

It seems to be a half-half problem of magazines only being published once in a blue moon and delivery difficulties.

It hasn't been uncommon for 3-4 months to go by between issue releases, and when they do come out many people complain of either not getting their magazine at all, or getting it weeks after it hits the local Chapters.

I believe I've recieved two since I signed myself up for it as a Christmas gift last year.

I already had seen the threads going on at the time about the problems with people getting them, and even made posts helping make excuses for them for a while... so I didn't really expect much when I subscribed. I just figured at the time that if a rotary-specific magazine were to ever have a chance that they'd need all the help they could get, so I subscribed not expecting much. But I did tell myself that if by the end of my subscription I didn't see an improvement in the speed of releases or deliveries, that I wouldn't renew.

This issue is just like beating a dead horse, no reason to have yet another thread about it which will only turn into BitchFest2k6.
