Not sure if we have a designated weekly meeting spot so here goes. Aside from rx7club, I'm also a very active member on jdmrides.ca. They have their meets Wednesday Nights (east end people) at the chapters parking lot at Kennedy Commons (kennedy/401). Aside from myself, there is only another rx-7 that shows up on a consistent basis (drives a white TII, believe he is "Nieon") on here. Anyways, the meet usually kicks off at 9-ish and I'm usually there at 10. There's atleast 20 cars that show up (used to go to the timmies lot, but now other car clubs are filling the spots up, lol). I don't want to sound like I'm plugging for the other club, just thought it'd be a good idea, meet some fellow rotary owners.

sounds like fun, arent there usually cops around kennedy commons?
i wouldn't want to get charged with illegal gathering

 

When we were at the Tim Horton's (last month), cops would come by and get coffee or whatever. That time less cars from our club (jdmrides.ca) and other local clubs would come out so we had enough parking. Ultimately, the less cars, the less chance of an idiot there... Now with the weather and 4-5 clubs including us, there's just no way we can all fit so we go to timmie's to grab a coffee and head over to Chapters to use their parking lot which is about 4 times bigger. It's usually just us there but we show up with like 20-30+ guys... In the summer's we hit 100+ members consistenly. We do get the oddball from another club who rips through and some of the other local clubs started to follow us here and they do stupid **** sometimes too. Uusually, it's just to rev at us or let off the blow-off valve for the cool effect. In terms of cop activity, it's not bad where you';d be nervous. Generally the people who do **** around, will see them and leave or stop.

Edit: FD's will surely be welcomed by the Honda guys. I remember making my intro and they all said I should get an FD or showed a lot more affection towards FD over FC ahaha.

 

I will be meeting up with thebisnac tomorrow sometime between 9-9:30pm and Neion at the meet itself (he's their regularly as I am). Feel free to pm or add to msn to set something up for tomorrow

Problem with weekly meets is that there aren't enough of us rx guys around. And alot of us live scattered in Toronto.

why dont you go and show off your 7, the crowds goin to go wild when a fd shows up

 

what are some of the other places were there are meets any thing down closer to burlington /hamilton area???

There ARE westend meets, but I'm closer to eastend. Anyways, meeting up with a couple members from this club prior and at the meet tonight. I will be heading there at 9:30-ish from Vaughan. My cell is 647 997 FC3S (3237) for those interested.

I'll be in westend tomorrow for the morning/afternoon and heading over eastend at 8-ish for the weekly meet on jdmrides.ca if you want to cruise with me and some of the westend guys. We only get 3 rx-7's out to the meets on a regular basis and all FC's ahaha. an FD would be nice!

We also have westend meets on Sundays alternating between the sq1 parking lot across from zellers and one somewhere in brampton. I will keep you guys updated with meets and whatnot so feel free to get in contact with me. Happy motoring!

 

I'm currently in Sauga and will be heading out to Kennedy Commons tonight for a meet if anyone is interested in cruising there tonight with me and some of my friends.

Also. There is a "big" meet happening this Sunday at 8pm @ Sq1 parking lot across from Zellers beside the bus terminal.

I found some rx-7 guy (forget his name) in a '90 NA at 403 & Dundas (I think he was on JDMrides too) when I went to toronto a few weeks ago.

I have got one "new" guy from this club to join me tomorrow for the meet, bringing the total RX-7 count to 4 (FC's). I'd like to see some more of you come out. Even the NSX, MR-2, & V8 guys are growing faster! Even if it's just for coffee and shoot the **** for 15 minutes. Going to meet up in North York at the parking lot directly east of the shell gas station, plan to head over to Kennedy Commons at around 9:15pm.
